New BYD Seal Pure Electric, Plug-in Hybrid Launched

The 2025 BYD Seal and Seal 07 DM-i were officially launched, with the new Seal (pure electric version) available in 4 models. The Seal 07 DM-i (plug-in hybrid version) is available in 5 models

In terms of appearance, the two new models have not changed much, with the new Seal adding a Sky Purple color scheme, new style wheels, and a light-up “BYD” tail badge. What’s most appealing is that it will be the first BYD model to feature LiDAR, and it will also be equipped with the DiPilot 300 advanced driver assistance system, which supports City Pilot (CNOA) and High-Noise Pilot (HNOA). In terms of dimensions, the new car’s length, width and height remain at 4800/1875/1460mm, with a wheelbase of 2920mm, the same as the old model.

In terms of power, the new Seal will be equipped with SiC electric control as standard, and the maximum power of the motor has three choices of 170kW rear-wheel drive, 230kW rear-wheel drive, and 390kW four-wheel drive, and the capacity of the battery is 61.44kWh and 80.64kWh, with the range of 510km, 650km, and 600km (CLTC working condition) respectively. The new Seal also supports 800V technology, with 10%-80% fast charging in just 25 minutes, while its top model will also come with the Cloud Chariot-C intelligent damping body control system to improve handling.
